Pastor
William V. Green, who is a native of Cleveland, Ohio and the son
of Sister Effie Green-Peoples, has pastored The Tabernacle of
Glory Baptist Church since January 1, 2007.
His relationship with The Tabernacle of Glory church family began
in 1981 when he served as an Associate Minister while attending
The American Baptist College of Nashville where he graduated with
an undergraduate degree in Bible/Theology (1985).
It
was during this time he met his wife and life-mate, the former
Ms. Faye Y. Stevens of Nashville, who was also a member of the
church family.
As
God would ordain and order the steps of Pastor Green and Sister
Faye, they served the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church of
Barberton Ohio for twenty years.
During
this time God bestowed upon them
many blessing two of which are their children,
William V. Green, II and Lydia Lenise.
While
serving the Galilee congregation,
Pastor Green received a Master's of Arts Degree concentrating
in the area of Christian Ministries
from Malone College of Canton, Ohio.
It
has been a pleasure and privilege since the time
of 2007 when God again ordained and ordered the
steps of William V. Green to become the pastor
of The Tabernacle of Glory where he and his
family serve faithfully.
Pastor
Green leads the congregation with an
emphasis and commitment on moving from going to church to
being the church while experiencing
Christ together to transform lives with a purpose as
a spiritual strategic journey dedicated to developing disciples
for Christ.
